This secret trade is the source of his vast wealth, as well as those who have invested into his corrupt scheme. His business brings him wealth and power, but it will also be the reason for an uprising against the throne.
Garalus is the commander of King Lohssa’s personal guard. He was once a vile and vicious criminal who Lohssa admired for his ruthlessness. The king pulled the murderer out of his jail cell and appointed him a position in his personal unit. From there, he continued to impress Lohssa with his violent rampages against the innocent, until he was appointed as leader of the king’s bodyguards.
Lohssa is the king of Anhar. Like the aristocracies that once ruled Noor, the royal house of Anhar and most of its ministerial positions are held by the wealthy and well connected. But Lohssa is more than a rich king. He is a vile and corrupt leader who will oppress the most innocent subject in his kingdom, as long as it will bring him some profit. He is also a follower of the ancient cults that were prevalent in Anhar, and his true aim is to bring back those practices into the kingdom.
